Our Access Statement helps you to plan your holiday and to know what facilities and obstacles to expect.

It is our intention to make as much of the Caravan Park as accessible as possible to all persons regardless of their disability. We welcome all visitors but as many of our buildings are a number of years old it is not possible to provide access for wheelchair users into all buildings. Where a building cannot be accessed we will endeavour to provide our services in an alternative setting.
If you have any suggestions to make with regard to disabled access, please speak to the Park Manager. We will do our utmost to provide all reasonable assistance.
The Park Office has space for wheelchair users. As this is a small room without a high level of ambient noise, there is no induction loop fitted and hearing aids should function correctly in their normal mode.
The Holiday Cottages have been converted from an old building and are not suitable for wheelchair users due to entrance thresholds and space constraints.
Elderberry Cottage is suitable for users of assistance dogs. Assistance dogs are welcomed onto the Caravan Park but must be exercised off the Park.
If you have difficulty reading any of the Park documentation we will be pleased to read it aloud to you.
The Park has a wheelchair available for customers. There is no charge for hire but it should be reserved in advance to ensure availability. The toilet has level access but limited floor space.
Many flagged pathways around the Park are 2 feet wide. Where we are re-laying pathways we are also widening them to a width of 3 feet. We will make it a priority to widen any pathways leading to a recognised “disabled specification” caravan (ie Pemberton Sovereign). The majority of the Park is pedestrian access only; however we do have a small number of pitches with car parking alongside and we will endeavour to allocate one of these pitches to the purchaser of a recognised “disabled specification” caravan.
We will be pleased to deliver goods from the Park Shop directly to your caravan*
If you are unable to take your refuse to the bins we will collect it from your caravan provided it is securely bagged* The Park Laundry has two steps to the entrance doorway. If you are unable to access the Park Laundry we will carry out your washing for you (for health & safety reasons we will not deal with soiled laundry)*
We can transport you around the Park by electric buggy*
For all the above services, please contact the Park Warden or Park Manager. These services are offered subject to availability, during normal business hours only and may not be immediately available at busy periods. Items marked with an asterisk may be subject to a small charge based upon staff time.
Neither the Warden nor Manager are trained carers and cannot offer any form of medical assistance, care nor aid with your personal mobility. The Park has a resident Warden. An emergency service is available outside of working hours subject to staff availability, however please be aware that this does not equate to 24-hour service.
If there is any other way that we can assist you to enjoy the Park, please let us know. We will try to accommodate all reasonable requests.
